DELIVERY & RETURNS
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 24 hours Monday - Friday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm. Orders placed Saturday – Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders, although we reserve the right to use alternative carriers should the need arise.
If a tracking number is provided by the carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st class mail will not have tracking numbers.
Rates charged for the delivery of your order will be based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of delivery will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order.
If an item goes on back order, we will dispatch the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available, we will dispatch the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional carriage or handling for the second delivery.
Return and Refund Policy
Here at Haynes International Motor Museum we are committed to your satisfaction with your purchase from our online shop. Every item is carefully inspected before we send it to you.
If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, please let us know within 14 days from the day it was delivered. You can contact us by phone on 01963 440804 or by email to email@example.com Once we hear from you, we will be glad to provide information on our procedures for return, exchange or refund. You will need to return any unwanted items within 14 days after you contact us.
To complete your return, we will require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Damaged during delivery
In a situation when your order arrives damaged, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will ask you to send a photograph of the damaged item. You may be eligible for a replacement; in which case you would not need to return the item.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Prepare your items for return
Make sure items that you wish to return are unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received them. If possible, please use the original shipping packaging.
Please note that some types of goods are non-refundable (unless faulty) and cannot be returned. Non-returnable items include perishable goods such as food, newspapers or magazines, jewellery, sale items and gift cards.
When preparing your items for return, enclose cover letter stating your contact details and reason for return, add a copy of original receipt, and send to:

We recommend that you keep a proof of posting or tracking.
Please note, your return postage charges are not refundable unless your order was faulty or incorrect.
Once your return is received, we will send you an email notification. Refunds are usually processed within 7 days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
